Used to prepare resorcinol-formaldehyde resin (RF resin), acting as bonding agent between rubber and reinforcing materials such as steel cord, nylon, polyester cord; widely applied in radial tires, conveyor belts, hoses, rubber rollers to improve adhesion strength and heat resistance.
