Solubility: Almost insoluble in water The water solubility at 20℃ is extremely low (about 13 mg/L) .
Density: The density of zinc stannate (similar compounds) is approximately 3.9 g/cm³.
Melting point: The melting point of zinc tinate is higher than 570°C, but the specific melting point data of zinc tinate hydroxide is not clear.
Stability: Stable at room temperature, but may decompose at high temperatures
Application area
- Mainly used as a new and highly efficient flame retardant additive and smoke inhibitor in the plastic, foam and other industries, it is only suitable for use in materials operating at temperatures below 180 degrees.
-As an environmentally friendly flame retardant, it replaces antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃) and is used in the plastic industry .
-It has a smoke-suppressing effect and reduces the release of toxic gases during combustion.
Storage
It should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse.
Some of the materials are recommended to be stored at room temperature and in a dry place.
